High-Potential Week at Outdoor Lab

We had a great time at the Outdoor Lab schools during high-potential week! High-potential week is an extension of the Outdoor Lab experience that aims to inspire and motivate high-achieving students that have been nominated by fellow teachers who’ve just finished sixth grade. The students were thrilled to attend the week-long educational experience, take their learning to new levels, as well as explore the sites with family members. Thank you to all of the kids, parents and families who spent time with us at Windy Peak and Mount Evans. Stay tuned, our upcoming blog will have all of the details!

School's Out for Summer, What Does That Mean for Outdoor Lab?

Another school year has come to a close, but our work empowering children to explore the great outdoors continues at the Outdoor Lab Schools throughout the summer season. Avid4 Adventure fell in love with our Outdoor Lab sites years ago and have since partnered with us to use the sites for Colorado Mountain Camps each summer. We’re thankful for partnerships that encourage children to get outside to connect with nature and discover more about themselves. Check out our latest blog to learn more!

First Annual Because of You Breakfast

Thank you to all who made our Because of You Breakfast a huge success! We proudly honored our first inaugural class of the Outdoor Lab Foundation Legacy Society. We can’t thank each of you enough for the time, talent and treasure you’ve selflessly given to the program over the past 61 years. It’s generous stewards like yourself that have helped Outdoor Lab grow into the amazing program it is today. More about our inductees here.

Chapman Orthodontics

Dr. Chapman, our community’s favorite orthodontist, wanted to wish you a happy summer break! Did you hear that there is a “flat Dr. Chapman” (flashback to the Flat Stanley days!) available to take on your summer adventures? If this doesn’t represent how much Dr. Chapman cares about his patients, then we don’t know what will.

Dr. Chapman is proud to support and sponsor local community charities and efforts that impact the students of Jefferson County. Dr. Chapman and Chapman Orthodontics became a Community Supporter Sponsor of Outdoor Lab in January and has been an amazing asset to Outdoor Lab and our Foundation.

Stop by Dr. Chapman’s office located at 8852 W. 38th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033 to say hello, understand all their services and pick up your very own “flat Dr. Chapman” to take on all your summer adventures.  Be sure to bring him to Open House this fall!
