Outdoor Lab Foundation Scholarship


Applications for the 24-25 school year will open in February 2025.


The Outdoor Lab Foundation is proud to give students who have served as high school leaders or interns at Outdoor Lab the opportunity to apply for scholarships to further their education. We are delighted to offer three scholarships to three deserving applicants this year. Each scholarship is $2,000. 

Students must meet all of the following criteria to apply:

  1. Student has served as a High School Leader or an Intern for the Jeffco Outdoor Lab Program, at Windy Peak or Mount Blue Sky, within the past three years, and
  2. Student is applying for admission to any private or public vocational training program, college, or university and plans to begin within 12 months from the deadline.

*Please note, to submit a complete application, you will need to include a letter of recommendation. 

Guidelines

Scholarships will be awarded one time and distributed to the student's designated institution in August or January, per the student's academic calendar. Scholarships are not renewable. Only students intending to begin any private or public vocational training program, college or university 12 months from the above deadline are eligible to apply. Previous scholarship recipients cannot re-apply.

Confidentiality Statement 

All application materials are entirely CONFIDENTIAL to Outdoor Lab Foundation and the scholarship selection committee members. All committee members sign a confidentiality agreement. Students remain anonymous to the selection committee until the final applicants are selected.
