Program Director - Outdoor Lab (Mt. Blue Sky)

Jeffco Public Schools is seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to serve as the Program Director at Mt. Blue Sky Outdoor Lab. The Program Director will oversee the recruitment, training, and supervision of high school interns and leaders, ensuring they are well-prepared to support sixth-grade students in their week-long immersive outdoor education experience.

Key responsibilities include managing daily operations, coordinating logistics with visiting schools, and maintaining curriculum and instructional resources. The Program Director will work closely with the site principal, visiting school staff, parents, and community partners to foster a positive learning environment. Additional duties include supporting Outdoor Lab special events, assisting with technology management, and taking on supervisory and administrative responsibilities, including occasional overnight and weekend shifts. Candidates must hold a Colorado teaching license, with administrative licensure preferred.
