Let the good times roll, as we have more exciting news about Outdoor Lab!

The Outdoor Lab Foundation is proud to announce that nearly $200,000 in tuition assistance was distributed to 35 neighborhood schools. In total, we fully supported over 1,000 Jeffco students with their Outdoor Lab fees this year.

We strive to ensure all students are actively welcomed and encouraged to participate fully in Outdoor Lab. The Foundation's Tuition Assistance Program is an important first step to ensuring this welcoming environment. Students and families should not let costs deter them from participating at Outdoor Lab. We provide direct funding to make the expense of attending as low or no cost as possible for as many students as possible. The Program targets support for students who qualify for free and reduced lunch and distributes funding to schools in priority order based on the size of their free/reduced population. We balance this priority while also ensuring that every school that attends Outdoor Lab receives some level of funding to help them with any tuition shortfalls they may be experiencing.

What's more, last night, Bryan Martin, the Foundation's Executive Director was able to present to the Jeffco School Board on all the amazing achievement made possible by the Foundation. He reported on the Tuition Assistance Program as well as the contributions the Foundation has made to the new construction projects, the Intern Program, High School Leaders, and myriad small investments made throughout the year.

In total, the Foundation has invest nearly $340,000 into Outdoor Lab and the Jeffco community this year.

The Lab Cards Program allows families to fundraise to reduce their Outdoor Lab fees and provides an easy way to fundraise for the Outdoor Lab Foundation in general.

We encourage you, if you are not already enrolled in the program, to use your weekly grocery shopping as a way to fundraise on our behalf? The Lab Card Program does not add any additional costs to your grocery bill. It simply tracks the spending that you are already doing and generates donations proportionately on your behalf back to the Foundation.
