December 2019 Newsletter (text only)

Colorado Gives Day Was Amazing. We are Grateful.

What a way to end the year!

Here at the Foundation, Colorado Gives Day is a holiday-time reminder that support for what we do reaches far and wide.

This year, we exceeded our Colorado Gives Day goal by raising $38,000. Our amazing, involved community continues to show outstanding support for the Outdoor Lab Foundation. So we'll keep doing what we're doing... making sure all Jeffco 6th grade students get to attend Outdoor Lab, regardless of any ability or disability, including the ability to pay.

Together, we're making things happen! Thank you to those of you near and far for giving what you can and for supporting us in your own unique way.

We are excited for the year to come. Please stay in touch!

From All of Us Here at the Foundation...

Happy Holidays!

We hope that no matter what you observe, you at least get a rest to enjoy this winter season. Thank you for supporting Outdoor Lab during 2019. We can't wait to see what 2020 will bring!

Volunteers Needed

Many of you know we deliver hoodies to local schools when they're ordered by families. We often need volunteers to pick the hoodies up from our office and deliver them to schools. We could use your help!

Custom Beer Still Available

Our beer release on December 10 was a smashing success. Thanks for all who joined. Did you miss it? No problem! Try our beer with proceeds still benefiting us at Colorado Plus Brew Pub, while supplies last.

Two Women. Two Stories. 50 Years Apart.

Joy went to Outdoor Lab 52 years ago. She remembers it fondly, and though some of the details now escape her, others are recollected with great detail. Joy got to attend Outdoor Lab during her last year in elementary school. She and her classmates looked forward to it during all of elementary and when she finally got to go, she knew then she was “one of the big kids,” grown-up and independent.
