Thank You, Admirable Interns!

As we head into the season that reminds us of the importance of giving thanks, we wanted to say a special thank you to our admirable Outdoor Lab Interns. The interns not only ensure the sixth-graders have a wonderful experience at Outdoor Lab, but they also serve as mentors to high school leaders. To show our appreciation, we were thrilled to surprise them with an afternoon pizza party. A small gesture to say THANK YOU for their hard work and commitment to Outdoor Lab. Interns, we couldn’t do it without you!

Youth Advisory Board to Host Second Resume Building Event

The Outdoor Lab Youth Advisory Board hosts monthly impact events for high school students, specifically those who have been, or are planning to become a high school leader at Outdoor Lab. Due to increased interest from the youth in our community, the Youth Advisory Board is excited to announce that they are hosting a second resume building event for local high school students.

Are you a parent or guardian of a high school student who has been, or is planning to become a high school leader? Don't hesitate to spread the word! This is the perfect opportunity for them to learn helpful tips and tricks in crafting the perfect resume while also incorporating their personal experience as a high school leader.

Where: Columbine Library, 7706 W Bowles Ave, Littleton, CO 80123

What to bring: A computer and a copy of your current resume if you have one

Support Outdoor Lab on Colorado Gives Day!

Mark your calendars, Colorado Gives Day is December 4th! Community First Foundation, FirstBank and several other sponsors have come together to create a Colorado giving focused day that has become a yearly tradition.

Last year, numerous people pre-scheduled their Colorado Gives Day donations early to ensure they didn’t miss their chance to have their gift amplified by a match. Last year's contributions have allowed us to support interns, provide critical trail supplies, ensure the sites have essential safety equipment for students and much more.
